Adie Welsh (25.05) beat Jimmy Summers (25.24) 3-0 in a good display of darts from Adie against a very dangerous opponent.
Dave Smurthwaite (24.59) beat Tommy Nicholson (24.00) 3-1 in a solid performance, which saw Dave playing well again after last weeks narrow defeat.
Paul Jennings (27.83) beat Geoff Wise (19.25) 3-0 with another solid display, just need to get shot of those slack and sloppy darts.
Chris Hornby (25.18) beat Phil Nixon (24.56) 3-2 in a cracker of a match which went with the darts all the way, final leg Phil sat on 120 but then saw Chris smash a massive 167 finish in the final leg to defeat Phil.
John Hardman (24.68) lost to Dave Dodds (24.55) 3-2 which saw John have 2 darts at a double for the 9-0, but we'll take 8-1 against a very good team like The Avenue every week.
All in all a very very good result against a very strong team which puts us on 88 games unbeaten and another tough game next week at home to Quarrington Hill who sit second at the moment so we all cant wait for that to come around. One downside to the night was a pint of kronenberg £3.15. Carling £2.95 needless to say we were all sober.
